ACKNOWLEDGMENT AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK
I, the person whose signature appears below, hereby agree and unconditionally acknowledge that I am participating of my own free will and choice on Friday, 13th November 2026, in the ASX Charity Regatta.
I acknowledge that there is a significant element of risk in any activity associated with the outdoors, particularly with the sport of sailing and that I may be exposed to:
- Physical hazards that may result in property damage, serious injury and/or death;
- Mental and emotional hazards that may result in sustaining, aggravation or acceleration of a mental or emotional injury;
- Adverse weather conditions; and/or
- Other unanticipated and unforeseen risks and dangers.
In consideration of being permitted to participate in the Charity Regatta, I agree that
- To the maximum extent permitted by law I will release and indemnify the Organisers, their representatives, officers, directors and employees and all corporations or persons that may sponsor, promote or donate a product or service to the ASX Charity Regatta or my participation in the ASX Charity Regatta from any and all loss or damage, actions, claims, demands whatsoever, both to person or property, which may arise from any Risk or my participation in the 2026 ASX Charity Regatta.
- I will bear responsibility for all Risks and any injury resulting from those Risks.
I consent and agree that the Organisers may take photographs/video recordings/sound recordings of me and at the Event (Recorded Materials).I consent to the Organisers using any or all of the Recorded Materials for the purposes promotional and/or fundraising activities and the Recorded Materials may be published on the Organisers public channels.
The provisions of this agreement bind my heirs, executors and personal representatives.
